Spencer Fletcher

The main character, Spencer is a student of Media at a London university (I forget which I decided on). He wears glasses and otherwise styles himself after the frontman of Lostprophets. Spencer is an excellent student, unlike his twin. He has a thing for Asian girls. Spencer's best friend is Roy, who he met on the internet.

Cameron Blake

Age: 19
Nationality: English (legal US American)
Cameron is Spencer's twin brother. He lives in Las Vegas with his mother, Serena, and his stepfather, Evan. Cameron is a musical star and lives the reckless life of one. He's just got a barmaid pregnant so, due to fear of commitment, he's decided to escape to England to finally meet his twin, Spencer. Despite the fact that he's never shown any interest in the apparent "bookworm".

Stevie Hitchcock

Age: 16
Nationality: English/Chinese
Stevie is fresh out of school, at 16 years old. She's been accepted to a drama school in London for her prowess in the area. Stevie is part Chinese and great big Cameron Blake fangirl. As she has a crush on Cameron, she soon falls for Spencer (without realising the relation). She does not appreciate people calling her "Steve".

Roy Cavanaugh

Age: 19
Nationality: Irish
Roy is Spencer's Irish best friend. He's in the same class at the same university as Spencer. They met on the internet at age 14. Spencer has kept quiet about Cameron, and Roy feels his position as Spencer's best friend is threatened as soon as Cameron arrives on the scene. Roy's parents own a solicitor's firm in Dublin.

Lisa Ramsay

Age: 20
Nationality: English
Lisa is a student of nursing. She is the third housemate of the house that she shares with Spencer and Roy, and is the one that selects Stevie as the final tenant of the house despite her financial shortcomings. Lisa treats Stevie as a younger sister, tries to convince Spencer that he's gay, and keeps trying to hit on Roy.

Kieran Williams

Age: 21
Nationality: English
Kieran is a well-known and celebrated radio presenter. He is unfortunate enough to run into a rising star called Cameron Blake quite frequently on his show, and later get dragged into being MC at his concerts. Spencer and Roy, being media students, are happy about the connection and will probably harass him for coursework content in the future.

Mia "Mimi" Estrella

Age: 21
Nationality: Mexican/US American
Mimi is a very popular bleach-blonde and sexy barmaid in one of Cameron's favourite hangouts - despite his age. Mimi's a bit of a gold digger and uses her charms to coax Cameron into bed (not exactly a difficult task) and get herself pregnant with his child. Imagine the maintenance costs! Mimi is not impressed by Cameron's disappearance.

Isibéal Cavanaugh

Age: 18
Nationality: Irish
"Izzy" is Roy's year-younger sister. She's very much into art and textile crafts, as well as black and white photography, and attends Wimbledon Art College. She doesn't like being referred to as "Isibéal" as nobody seems to be able to pronounce or spell it, and so favours "Izzy". She's very pretty but doesn't know it.

Ben Fletcher

Age: 52
Nationality: English
Ben is the father of Spencer and Cameron, and ex-husband of Serena. He's a doctor. He didn't seem to be very affected by Serena moving away from him and demanding a divorce, devoting himself to his career and bringing up Spencer to the best of his ability. Ben has very little to do with Serena and Cameron. His sons inherited his short-sightedness.

Serena Blake

Age: 49
Nationality: English
Serena is the mother of Spencer and Cameron. Serena is very tall and very beautiful, but also very selfish and self-centred. She met Evan online while she was pregnant with her twins and was enamoured by the idea of moving to the US. Besides, Ben was never the most exciting man on the planet. She thinks she did Ben a favour in leaving one of the boys with him.
